EU Withdrawal Button Pro helps Shopify merchants provide an electronic withdrawal function for EU-facing customers. This policy explains the data we process to operate the app.
Data we process
- Shop domain, installation state, plan state, and app settings.
- Withdrawal request details submitted by customers: name, email, order number, optional item details, optional note, timestamps, and confirmation status.
- Technical proof data such as hashed IP address, user agent, source URL, and audit events.
- Aggregated daily metrics, such as button views and submissions, stored by date to avoid unbounded event growth.
- Google Analytics pageview data for app usage measurement, using Measurement ID G-W8EM1F88WK.
How we use data
- To show the no-login withdrawal form and create a durable merchant record.
- To help merchants match requests to orders and follow up with customers.
- To provide support, security, abuse prevention, and GDPR compliance handling.
Retention and deletion
Stores can configure plan-bounded retention: Compliance Basic supports up to 90 days and Evidence Pro supports up to 365 days. Deleted requests are soft-deleted first, then cleanup jobs permanently remove stale deleted requests, old audit events, old metrics, old webhook idempotency records, and old cleanup run logs. On uninstall, sessions are removed and the store is marked inactive.
